SANDHILL ALPACAS is committed to breeding only ARI registered huacaya alpacas of quality.
We began raising alpacas in 1998, after searching for a grazing animal that would not later appear on the dinner table. Once we met the clean, gentle alpaca, we knew we had found what we needed (pigmy goats did not quite do it!). Alpacas are a way of life that is peaceful and rewarding, as well as being an excellent investment opportunity.
We have alpacas for sale - gentle youngsters, as well as a few bred females and potential herdsires. Ask us about package discounts. We also have yarn and fiber for sale and have recently opened a products store selling scarves, hats, socks, gloves, and other fine alpaca products. We offer breeding to our herdsires, and our continuing commitment to give complete support to our customers and new owners. Support includes advice on animal health, selection and breeding, herd management, physical layout, and pasture management.
Breedings are available for select females to our award winning herdsires, 5Peruvian Quechua; The Sandman; Fleecy Dale Bossa Nova; The Aviator; and Wite Litening..
