Raising Better Alpacas One Generation at a Time
Over 100 Suri and Huacaya alpacas dot the pastures of Pine Forty Farms, a quiet place nestled amidst the cornfields of central Iowa. Whether you are a veteran alpaca breeder, a novice or just thinking about getting started, our farm is well worth a trip off the beaten path. Located 15 minutes East of Interstate 35, Pine Forty Farms is owned and operated by two veterinarians each with over 18 years of experience in most every aspect of the camelid industry.
We offer healthy top quality alpacas with proven track records at competitive prices along with accurate advice and some of the best after-sale support available. Our selective breeding program has combined some of the best Peruvian, Bolivian and Chilean pedigrees to develop outstanding new bloodlines that are truly North American.
Pine Forty Farms consistently produces winners both in the show ring and on the farm! We take pride in the fact that our show animals are the product of our own breeding program and that each new crop of juveniles we produce is highly competitive. While we thoroughly enjoy showing our alpacas, our ultimate goal is to profitably produce healthy animals with top quality fiber. Please give us a call or arrange a farm visit; we're happy to share our mistakes as well as our successes with anyone interested in the alpaca business.
