RAISING ALPACAS WITH FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE!
Welcome to Hums of Faith Suris. We are Jim and Laurie Konyn. We started are farm in July 2006 with the purchase of 10 Suri Alpacas.
Our farm is located in northeastern Wisconsin on 6.2 acres of land, 30 miles north of Green Bay, WI and 2 miles west of Oconto, WI.
We just returned from our second experience at the Appleton WI Spring Bling show (formerly Spring Fling) Our Belmonte's Hamilton (at 21 months) again made us proud - he took a first place in his light brown yearling male category, and went on to capture the Grand Champion in the brown color category.
The judge commented that he was a beautiful animal, had great luster and density of fleece, and great conformity. We already knew that = he has a stance like a winner!
Last year in Appleton, Hamilton won his first blue ribbon in the juvenile male light brown category, and took home the Reserve Grand Champion Brown color banner. He was 9 months old at that time, and even though we already knew he was a winner before the show, the judge confirmed our vision of him.
The Locksmith, our current stud, took second place in the Light Mature Suri Male class in 2007 at Spring Fling. We look forward to beautiful offspring from him this summer.
