Confessions from a small farm - It's really no secret. We began by purchasing a few excellent females, some bred and others nearly ready to breed. It became apparent that we needed to add quality males to our herd that would fulfill our desire to breed top of the line alpacas. We searched for and purchased two of the best young males we could find. We had done our homework, and felt that our choices were good ones. Young and unproven, CPeruvian Winchester and Peruvian Black Epic gave us the pleasure of excelling in the show ring - proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are each outstanding male alpacas. Would they also excel in our breeding program, producing more excellent alpacas, enabling us to continue what we had started? The answer was a resounding YES!
We are thrilled with the quality they have produced, as are clients who have used them as studs or who have purchased their offspring. We cannot keep every champion and remain a small farm!
