Angeleka (aka "Angel") is owned by Ruebarb Alpacas in Houghton, New York and she and her newborn "Silk of Peru" cria are offered here for sale and together, exclusively by Close-Knit.

Angel is a light fawn huacaya female with 2 brown spots and good coverage, uniformity and brightness to her fleece. It even has nice handle and excellent staple length!

Angel has good conformation with an exceptionally nice chest girth.

Angel is a proven dam, a devoted and nurturing mother, providing ample milk.

November 17, 2007, Angel gave birth to Jazmine, a beautiful white fleeced cria with outstanding crimp and staple length.

Angel was bred in December of '07; however, when it did not take it was decided to wait until spring to re-breed her...moving her out of the winter window for birthing and moving her to a spring schedule.

Angel was re-bred to Silk of Peru and delivered her pure, crystalline white '09 cria May 22nd (see pic) named Nicodemus. Angel also comes with a re-breeding of your choice to either Silk of Peru, a son of Peruvian Snowmaster, or Peruvian Cosmos, a rose grey male with excellent fleece and lineage.

Angel is doing nicely this year... She's looking good and helping to care for the farm's new crias!
