Raider came into the world on the cold and rainy morning of 11/15/08, was up nursing and running around the pasture within the hour. He is a 3/4 Accoyo, beautiful white male with a beautiful head, nice square frame and dense, tightly bundled, well organized fleece.
His sire is Pacific Crest Accoyo Paul Revere has perfect conformation and presence. He is a B-line Accoyo, known to be the finest fleeced of the Accoyos. Greg Mecklem with the guidance of Don Julio selected both the sire and dam of Paul Revere. Paul Revere is a little smaller than other Accoyo males, but that is consistent with his B-line pedigree. The B-line animals exhibit 20% less body wt., 20% finer fleece and 20% less density. The hall mark of a B-line male is his Coefficient of Variation, or C of V. Raider has excellent breeding with grandsires, Glacial Storm, an Accoyo male and Tsunami, a B-line Accoyo male in his lineage. Stay tuned for up dates on this little guy, he is adorable!
