RDWD Admiral's Bronze Star
It is said that the military awards the "bronze star" for meritorious achievement (i.e. for "doing one's job well"). After seeing Admiral's latest cria, we couldn't help but award Admiral the Bronze Star!
Full Peruvian and boasting Accoyo genetics, Admiral's Bronze Star is a shimmery shade of medium brown with black tips. Weighing 21.4 lbs at birth, Star is a large and powerful framed female with a beautiful typey head and awesome conformation. As you can see in the last set of pictures (taken before she was even a day old) Bronze Star is spunky and full of energy!
Bronze Star boasts some of the strongest lineage in the alpaca industry; covered in color as well as champions! Every alpaca in her Sire's background (including Admiral himself) is either a champion, or has produced champions! This includes Peruvian Camelot, Peruvian Magnum, Peruvian Misty Maiden, Accoyo Camilio, and Accoyo Royal Fawn, among others... From her dam's side, Star also boasts the True Black lineage of Peruvian Black Magic! Her dam has thrown color everytime she has been bred (including twice when bred to white) and looking at the color genetics in place for Star, we see no reason why she wouldn't do the same!
Bronze Star's fleece is very fine with excellent bundling, brightness, and architecture. We are very pleased with the fleece and conformational attributes we see represented in Star, and are excited to watch her development over the next several months. Another show winner for Admiral? We think so.
