The Chilean lines are long famous for infusing extreme color to the North American alpaca herd, and Fresia clearly demonstrates this ability!

This Chilean beauty is one of the last available imports, though she doesn't "act like" an import (extremely aloof, like some) and is not as jumpy as so many alpacas that have been imported. She's much more calm than most, has a friendly, sweet disposition, and gets along well with the other girls in the herd.

Fresia is an easy breeder and birther, too, & an excellent mom, as well. Her '05 & '06 cria have grown into large and healthy alpacas (both sold). Her '07 cria, Abe, is spectacular.

Fresia's experienced, hearty & reliable. Her conformation is sound & straight, & her bite is good... her teeth have never had to be trimmed. Being a dam without difficulties getting pregnant & a good mother are paramount qualities for any production dam.

Fresia's color is brilliant, & with the white spot allele present, alongside that gorgeous, hot maroon color, bred to the right males she can produce lots of color, possibly fancies, and including GREYS for you. Her '07 cria, Abe, is a colorful son with classic white tuxedo markings typical of greys, so his almost black tone will continue to "grey out" into being a dark silver grey. His color is GORGEOUS, as is Fresia's. Just imagine the fiber art projects! Breed-back included!
