Alexander the Great

Alexander the Great is a full Peruvian dark brown male, whose fleece characteristics boast not only a nice handle, but when we had Alexander shorn recently, we discovered that his fleece now has crimp throughout his blanket!

Alexander's confirmation is excellent, and he is probably the best halter trained alpaca on our farm. Grandson to the well known CAMELOT, Alexander bears a striking resemblance to one of his distant cousins, Autumn Breeze, who also resides at our farm. HIs Sire, King Crimson, is a multiple championship and blue ribbon winning male!

Alexander's Grand Sire was True Black, and we believe that when bred to the right females, he too just might produce black cria. Just take a look at the his black ears, nose, and eye liner! As he was the first cria to be born at Redwood Ranch Alpacas, we hate to see him go, but we are confident that because of his great confirmation, color heritage, and fleece characteristics, his potential will be quickly recognized!

He could serve as a begining herdsire for a start-up farm, a spit testing male, or simply as a quality fiber male. In any case at this great price you get to beenfit from the fact that we just need to make room for more.

Be sure and check out our listing for Alexander's Dam, Kaluah.
