The first Admiral cria to be born at Redwood Ranch Alpacas has finally arrived!

Born to our bay black foundation female Kiona, Strike Force is showing the signs that he is truly an 'Admiral' offspring. Strike Force has been stamped with Admiral's handsome typey head, beautiful conformation, and unbelieveable coverage. His fleece is among some of the finest I've felt, a characteristic attributable to both Admiral, whose 1st year micron count was a very fine 16, and Kiona whose 2006 micron was revealed to be a 19.8 as a bred female! Strike Force's fleece is chracterized by a beautiful lustrous brightness, large wavy curls, and a knotted/bundled architecture...and that is when it is wet, rainy, and humid!

Weighing in at 19.8 pounds, he is a big, bold, macho male full of energy and speed. (In fact he is so energetic and speedy, half of the pictures I attempted to take ended up with only a leg or ear in them...he simply insists on running out of the picture!)
