Hidden Views Farm Alpacas is proud to present our Champion Herdsire Peruvian Cougar!! Cougar is known by many as the "Impact Sire" and has all the qualities you look for in a superior herdsire!!

His most obvious traits are his astounding presence and phenomenal head. He looks, walks, and stands with absolute confidence. His fleece is fine, loaded with crimp, and has a wonderful hand.

Equally impressive is Cougar's fertility as he has earned the nickname "one shot" for his consistent record of settling females in a single breeding. Cougar allows the color of the dam to pass through while improving the fleece quality. Cougar has passed on his "helmet" head to all his crias along with his fantastic fleece coverage.

Like all champions, Cougar has an outstanding pedigree. His sire is the renowned Peruvian Romantico (originally of WoodsEdge Wools) and Fleecy Dales star producer Peruvian Cocha (who at seven years of age sold at Star Events in 2004 for $34,000). Cougar's maternal sibling Cocha's Miracle sold for an astounding $82,000 at only 6 months of age!

Peruvian Cougar's show ring results are very impressive. His career began with top finishes against notable blue ribbon winners. His coming out party at the Virginia Classic resulted in a blue ribbon and Reserve Championship. He capped his showring career off with a well deserved second place at the AOBA Nationals. Cougar is actively pursuing his breeding career, allowing his offspring to speak for him with their great presence in the show ring!
