We at Alma Park believe that the industry will eventually concentrate on fiber production. Because we believe this we are concentrating on breeding our alpacas for the ultimate end product, FIBER. We concentrate on all the fiber qualities necessary for a good product such as: fineness, handle, comfort factor, and crimp. We are specializing in white and light fawn alpacas but of course have a rainbow of animals to choose from becuase of the mysteries of color genetics. We try to improve our fiber by breeding our females to great males but also by good management practices and great nutrition.
